The rules for using plasto.io: accounts, units, plans, output licences and what each side is responsible for.
⚠ This page is not an agreement and is not in force. The green text is what could be checked against the code today; the rest waits on decisions and on a lawyer's drafting.
1.Accounts
As built: One email, one account. That email is also your login and cannot be changed yet, because nothing can send a verification email to a new address.
Still missing: Age limits, one-account-per-person, and the grounds for suspending an account.
2.Units and the tariff
As built: One unit is one cent of generation-provider cost. A job's cost is shown before you press Run, and that is the number charged. Units are not e-money: they cannot be cashed out or moved between accounts.
3.Refunds
As built: Failed or cancelled runs refund in full, in units, automatically, with their own line in your ledger. That holds today and you can check it yourself.
Still missing: Money refunds: the window, the grounds and the process. No money has ever moved in this build.
4.Output licence
As built: Free bench: output is published to the catalogue under CC BY 4.0 and anyone may reuse it with credit. Copies already taken cannot be recalled. Paid plans: output is private and yours, commercial use included.
5.Plans and renewal
As built: Changing plan takes effect immediately and grants no units; the allowance follows on your next renewal date. The monthly allowance is reset automatically on that date and unspent units do not carry over. There is no payment processor, so a plan change charges nothing.
Still missing: Cancellation and money-refund terms, once money changes hands.
6.Liability and governing law
As built: Generated output is provided as is. Check the mesh before printing or putting it into production — the compare screen counts open and non-manifold edges for exactly that reason.
Still missing: [TO BE DRAFTED AND REVIEWED BY COUNSEL]
